Coverage along the Turkish coast is good in the marinas and thinner in the quiet bays that are the point of being there. Nobody's network is an exception; knowing where it drops is the useful part.

A private transfer does not wait while you find a SIM desk, and crew handover starts the moment you step aboard. Set up at home and none of that is a problem.
Why unlimited, not bigger
A large fixed bundle still runs out, usually on the day someone starts uploading video from the flybridge. Unlimited plans remove the arithmetic entirely — you stop counting and nobody has to ration the hotspot.

Frequently asked questions
Will it work offshore and in the bays?
Close to shore, usually. The plan runs on a major Turkish network, which covers the coastline, marinas and towns well. Signal falls away as you move offshore and inside deep bays with high sides — download charts, weather and anything you need before you leave harbour.
Can several of us share one plan?
Yes, through hotspot. For a large party it is usually still better if two or three phones carry their own plan and share from different points on the boat, rather than everything depending on one handset and one battery.
How fast can it be set up?
Minutes, and it should be done before you travel. The eSIM installs over any connection at home and stays dormant until it finds a Turkish network, so it is live before you are through the terminal.
